Sponsorship Package Stage West Playhouse (SWP) Spring Hill Florida
Become a Stage West Playhouse Sponsor
Potential Visibility:
With just our own season of shows, sponsors can get their businesses name in front of as many as 25,000 people per season. Our Season Sponsors can expect that number to be considerably higher with the inclusion of concerts, comedy nights, special and corporate events throughout the season bringing a variety of audiences beyond just theater lovers.
Why we need you:
SWP theater was constructed in 1994 and requires constant maintenance. We depend greatly on ticket sales and concessions to pay the bills and keep things running.
It is not enough!
At this time, we need more than general maintenance. We are in need of a new roof, air conditioning, and a much-needed upgrade to our sound and lights. Your sponsorship will help us achieve those goals while creating tremendous visibility and good will for your organization. From signage, web presence, social media and press releases to tickets for you or as great gifts for your clients, becoming an SWP sponsor is a win-win for everyone.
Our sponsor package offers sponsorships for individual shows or our full season of productions.
We hope you will join us as we grow and move into the future of theater in West Central Florida!
About SWP:
The Stage West Playhouse is unlike any other community theater in Central Florida. SWP is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization that has been in operation for over 40 years serving theater lovers in the Hernando, Pasco, and Citrus County communities with outreach as far as Tampa, St Pete/Clearwater and the greater Orlando area. People come to participate in shows as actors, musicians, and technicians, attend playwriting and acting workshops, and of course, enjoy the many presentations we offer. Actors, directors, our board members, and all the technical workers at SWP do this out of love for the work and no one is paid for their efforts. We also have a large number of volunteers/members who come to man the doors, hand out programs, escort folks to their seats, and work in concessions.
SWP has a robust, thriving, and ever-growing children’s program including summer camps, a children’s summer musical, a holiday show, acting workshops, and even family productions where both kids and their parents perform together. As an example, last season we produced the marvelous musical, School of Rock. We had “kids” from ages 6 to 60 on stage and many parents playing roles alongside their children. We also offer scholarships of $500 and $1,000 to high school students pursuing a career in theater arts often giving at least $12,000 or more each year to these pupils.

In addition to our regular season of musicals and straight plays, we produce a number of what we refer to as “specials” that stretch both the actors and the audience with contemporary plays and often difficult subject matters. Each August, our Playwrighting Workshop presents a weekend of original work at our New Works Festival offering work from the group which includes performances of 10-minute plays, staged readings, and full-length productions of never before produced works. The weekend includes tours of our theater, improv performances, our popular, “Showtune Karaoke,” and musical selections from upcoming shows.
There is constantly something happening at Stage West. With concerts and comedy nights, dance recitals, costume contests, holiday themed events, and a variety of other events produced by outside entities like film presentations and corporate events, the theater is seldom dark.

About the space:
Our main theater seats 390 while our smaller theater – the Forum – seats 156. The theaters are side by side and share a large scenic design shop, green room, costume loft, and two large dressing rooms. Each theater has its own tech booth, lighting, and sound.
We have a lobby area for each theater with concessions in both locations while our Forum houses our Cantina offering adult libations, and snacks. The Cantina can also be used for small events like Karaoke nights, improv shows, acting workshop performances, staged readings, acoustic or jazz musical performances and even small corporate events.
