Motivation in Movement – Necessary versus Interpretive, observation and concentration
Believable Action/Pantomime – making your movement count
Improvisation – understanding how to improvise and when to use it - Tuesday
Morning
Finding Your Voice – voice quality, controlled breathing, tone, and pitch
Can You Hear Me? – volume, projecting without injury, enunciation, pronunciation, and speed
Afternoon
Characterization I – how to figure out a character, interpreting one’s lines, and interpreting one’s movement - Wednesday
Morning
Intro to Music – Selecting a song and interpreting music Afternoon – Movement to Music – how to move to the beat, basic moves - Thursday
Morning – Characterization II reaction to others, when and how to add emotion
Afternoon – Stage Make-Up understanding basic stage make-up application Specialty Make-Up black eyes, scars, old age make-up - Friday
Morning – Special Movements how to handle those tricky moves on stage Stage Combat making the fighting look real
Afternoon
Auditioning Techniques and Tips– what to have prepared and how to impress
